Black only. The leg was opened 14 cm — cut straight from the thigh, no taper. The only piece in the collection that carries no external mark.
The piece worn. Three-quarter, standing. Hard raking key from the left, long shadow. Crimson ground. No face, no hands above the wrist.
The mark, on the cloth, at working distance. Raking light so the relief reads by sheen. Tone on tone — the mark must disappear in colour and appear only in light.
